Henkel TECHNOMELT™ Low Pressure Molding Solutions

TECHNOMELT™ is a low pressure molding technology designed by Henkel Adhesives International.

Henkel Technomelt Low Pressure Molding SolutionsAn incredibly versatile product, the TECHNOMELT™ system is comprised of a family of more than 20 different , all natural materials. Each material is a polyamide-based thermoplastic resin with different properties and is suitable for multiple applications.

Robert McKeown is proud to be an authorized distributor of Henkel TECHNOMELT™ materials, and now an authorized convertor using the LPMS molding equipment. Henkel has released two of their most recently developed options, TC 50 and PA 668.

BENEFITS OF TECHNOMELT™

Henkel’s TECHNOMELT™ materials are commonly used in a tremendous range of applications — everything from circuit board protection, sensitive electronic components, food packaging and labels, optical cables, high speed electronics, wearable electronics and strain relief on all kinds of connectors and cables.

Across the board, TECHNOMELT™ materials offer a number of benefits over other hot melt adhesive and traditional potting materials:

Superior adhesion — While some TECHNOMELT™ materials adhere more strongly to certain materials than others, they all offer excellent adhesion to a variety of materials, including engineered plastics, cables, and metals

Less weight and smaller footprint — TECHNOMELT™ materials are specially engineered to offer exceptional adhesion and sealing without adding unnecessary bulk or weight

Zero waste — The low pressure injection molding process used with TECHNOMELT™ materials eliminates production waste

No curing — After molding, TECHNOMELT™ materials do not require any curing time, helping to shorten your lead times
